Possible synergies between CBD and IPBES’ work on policy support tools and methodologies

Suggest to explore synergies between the CBD work on the characterisation the contribution of collective action of indigenous peoples and the IPBES’ work on policy support tools and methodologies. Biocultural community protocols and indigenous peoples and local communities conserved areas are mentioned among the relevant policy support tools and methodologies in the “Proposal for a catalogue of policy support tools and methodologies”, Information Document IPBES/3/INF/8 for the 3th session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services,
