Defining biocultural approaches to conservation

This article focus on the broad set of values that can be achieved by look at synergies from work on biocultural diversity and heritage, social–ecological systems theory, integrated conservation and development, co-management, and community-based conservation. The eight
principles that characterize such approaches might be used also in the context of defining the existing non-monetary values of resources at hand.
