Please find here attached a brochure containing some resources and publications related to Community Based Monitoring and Information Systems (CBMIS). The content may provide material for consideration in addressing the development of guidance on how to report on the contribution of collective action of indigenous peoples and local communities, including on data availability, what kind of data needs to be collected, how to deal with aggregation of data, and, most importantly, who should be leading the process. The two publications related to the workshop reports in the Philippines and Lake Toba (Indonesia) contain various case studies and discussion on methodology and tools as well as ethical and governance issues.
