The Botanical Garden of Sancti Spíritus, belonging to the Environmental Services Center of Sancti Spíritus (Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment - CITMA), invites Cuban professionals who investigate the country's biological diversity to participate in the “IV Encuentro Científico sobre Diversidad Biológica BiodiverSOS 2018”, which will be held on May 22 and 23, 2018. BiodiverSOS is a national event that has been held since 2012, coinciding, or at a close date, with the International Day of Biodiversity (22nd may). Its main objective is to encourage the study and conservation of nature, with emphasis on the central area of our archipelago, offering a favorable scenario for the exchange of experiences with researchers, professors, specialists and technicians working on these issues.
El Jardín Botánico de Sancti Spíritus, perteneciente al Centro de Servicios Ambientales de Sancti Spíritus (Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología y Medio Ambiente – CITMA), convoca a los profesionales cubanos que investigan sobre la diversidad biológica del país, a participar en el “IV Encuentro Científico sobre Diversidad Biológica BiodiverSOS 2018”, que se desarrollará los días 22 y 23 de mayo de 2018. BiodiverSOS es un evento nacional bienal que se realiza desde 2012, coincidiendo, o en fecha cercana, con el Día Internacional de la Biodiversidad (22 de mayo). Su objetivo primordial es incentivar el estudio y conservación de la naturaleza, con énfasis en la zona central de nuestro archipiélago, ofreciendo un escenario propicio para el intercambio de experiencias a investigadores, profesores, especialistas y técnicos que trabajan estas temáticas.
