Specialized Support to the CBD Secretariat

The JBF has provided Secretariat-wide support in a variety of areas such as: 

• The development of the Secretariat’s Results-Based Management framework.
• Cooperating with the Secretariat’s Monitoring, Review and Reporting Unit contributing the JBF’s extensive experience on NBSAP support and analysis.
• The adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework by way of contributing to consultations and the preparation of the fifth edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook-5 and the second edition of the Local Biodiversity Outlook.
• Contributing to the participation of developing country Party representatives and a women’s representative at CBD meetings.
