Cree First Nation in Northern Quebec, Canada; unifying 9 cree communities to produce a regional conservation strategy. [#1085]
The Cree Nation Government, which is made up of 10 Cree communities located within the Hudson Bay drainage released its Cree Regional Conservation Strategy. IN addition, 5 of these communties released the Broadback Watershed Conservation Strategy. Both can be found at http://www.eeyouconservation.com

Kia ora, thanks so much for this insightful contribution. I found the categorisation of lands within the strategy a great idea for CBMIS purposes.I can see many synergies with the management work we do here at home in Ngati Hine.  Have you established any protected areas over your marine areas and how do you monitor your outcomes?  Please check out the document I load on our catchment plan as we are using traditional knowledge indicators too.  I'd love to talk more...
