The information Webinar on Importance of cross-sectoral collaboration for the implementation of Target 6 on invasive alien species was held on 27 January 2026. Its goal was to raise awareness about the importance of cross sectoral collaboration in addressing invasive alien species and implementing Target 6 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
This webinar was conducted in collaboration with members of the Inter-Agency Liaison Group on Invasive Alien Species, the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), the Government of Canada and Crowdsorsa and with the generous support of the Government of Japan through the Japan Biodiversity Fund.

The goal was to present different tools available to Parties to support the implementation of Target 6 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
