The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Arctic Report Card came out this week, and its messages are dire. However, one of my concerns about scientific reports like this is that they often fail to “connect the dots” for an average person living in Canton, Georgia or Laurel, Maryland.
