In the centre of Australia, where the landscape is parched and temperatures can soar into the high 40s, water can be a precious commodity. But a "cutting edge" technology is being trialled in the Northern Territory, giving a glimpse of how water-dependent industries may one day be able to operate in the outback without having to rely on sucking those resources from underneath the earth.
