We participated as a non profit organization at COP10, Nagoya Japan. Some specialist of communication gathered and we established this organization on May 28, 2011. We included five IUCN-CEC members (IUCN Commission on Education and Communication). We held civil events with local governments and mass-medias. We are also a member of the UNDB Japan Commission.
COP10でNGOスピーチを行い、CEPA決議を修正。国内のコミュニケーションのスペシャリストを集めた組織として2011/5/28に設立。IUCN-CECメンバーも5名。自治体とメディアと組んだ市民イベント開催、国連生物多様性の10年日本委員会の運営メンバー。
日本国内で行われている「CEPA」のグッドプラクティスを各種メディア、Web、印刷物にアーカイブし、国内、海外に発信、愛知目標の目標1を推進。日本人が都市化によって忘れかけている「自然との共生」、生物多様性という概念を生活で実感できるように取組む。

Before the organization was created, many members participated in the COP 10 side-events, at the International Children's Conference and at the International Youth Conference. With the help of the local government and non-profit organizations, the NEO have already started to do activities concerning the results that were mentioned in the discussions from the Youth Children side-events at COP10.
