Nature Conservation Center (AUB)
The Nature Conservation Center at AUB, is an interfaculty and interdisciplinary center founded in 2002 under the Office of the Provost. The center seeks to promote the conservation and the sustainable use of biodiversity for the purpose of enhancing the wellbeing of people and nature by providing an open, innovative, and collaborative platform. The vision lies in establishing Ibsar as a recognized reference center for the study and sustainable use of dry land biodiversity. All programs, initiatives, and projects undertaken at Ibsar are aligned with its mission statement and vision and operate on three interrelated fronts: Education, Research, and Community Outreach.
