The Korea Business and Biodiversity Initiative (KBBI) -Business and Biodiversity Platform (BNBP)-
Korea Business Council for Sustainable Development(KBCSD) has been operating the Business and Biodiversity Platform(BNBP) Secretariat in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment since 2016. BNBP is Korea Business and Biodiversity Initiative(KBBI). The purpose of BNBP is to enhance corporate response capabilities to biodiversity issues, and every year, we promotes education and publicity on biodiversity issues, information exchange, and expanded communication with stakeholders. KBCSD is a CEO-led organization of companies that endeavors to put Korean industry on track to economic development in harmony with environment and social development. KBCSD is also a global network partner of the WBCSD.

To promote corporate biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of biological resources.
Mission
To enhance corporate response capabilities to biodiversity issues.
Objectives
- Expanding the cooperation with key stakeholders of international and domestic biodiversity
- Supporting companies to contribute to achieving GBF and national biodiversity goals
- Expanding communication and cooperation between government and companies on biodiversity policies
- Providing information to support corporate biodiversity conservation activities and strengthening response capabilities
- Expanding publicity and education to promote corporate biodiversity conservation activities
