10-Year Framework of Programmes (UNEP)
The 10YFP was adopted at the Rio+20 Conference as a framework for action on Sustainable Consumption and Production. Programmes on sustainable public procurement, tourism, building and construction, lifestyles and education, food systems, and consumer information have been launched.
Accounting for Sustainability (A4S)
A4S catalyzes action by the finance, accounting, and investor community towards establishing resilient business models and a sustainable economy. Their projects focus on demonstrating the business case for sustainable business models, increasing engagement, building capacity, and developing systems, tools and guidance to enable the accounting and finance community to integrate environmental health, social wellbeing, and economic performance into financial decision-making, accounting and reporting. A4S also aims to facilitate an enabling environment for change through a shift to sustainable capital markets, regulatory, and reporting environments. A4S’ mission and approach reflect that the current financial and accounting system that underpins the economy focuses on short-term financial outcomes that do not adequately reflect the dependency of economic success on the health and stability of our communities and the natural environment. A4S works with CFOs and finance teams, the accounting community, investors, policy makers, regulators, and governments.
Business and Biodiversity Programme:
A4S CFO Leadership Network is a network of financial leaders that have committed, through the Network Charter to collaborate and share knowledge to achieve change toward more sustainable business models within the global CFO and finance community. The Network’s purpose is to promote experience-sharing and cooperation among members, and to facilitate the development of new tools, methodologies, and approaches for embedding sustainability into internal decision-making processes. CFO Leadership Seminars, designed to meet the needs of CFOs of multinational and national companies, are held with the goal of enhancing understanding of the changing landscape of commercial risks arising from increasing environmental pressures and regulatory and investor responses. A4S also develops a standard methodology to incorporate social and environmental impacts into capital expenditure decisions. They collaborate with the UN to improve alignment between the way progress is measured at global, national, and organizational levels.

Addis Ababa Principles and Guidelines for the Sustainable Use of Biodiversity
The Addis Ababa Principles and Guidelines for the Sustainable Use of Biodiversity consist of fourteen interdependent practical principles, operational guidelines, and a few instruments for their implementation that govern the uses of components of biodiversity to ensure the sustainability of such uses. The principles provide a framework for advising Governments, resource managers, indigenous and local communities, the private sector, and other stakeholders about how they can ensure that their use of the components of biodiversity will not lead to the long-term decline of biological diversity.
African Biodiversity Conservation and Innovations Centre (ABCIC)
The African Biodiversity Conservation and Innovations Centre (ABCIC) was established in 2010 as a non-profit making regional organization enhancing the conservation and sustainable utilization of biodiversity for posterity, environmental preservation and sustenance of livelihoods for the African rural communities. ABCIC primarily focuses on agrobiodiversity and adopts an integrated approach that carefully balances conservation imperatives with the sustainable use through facilitating and promoting production, product development and enhancing marketing of biodiversity products through a value chain approach. ABCIC implements its mandate through applied research, technical advice and strengthening of African institutions involved in agrobiodiversity conservation and use, value chains and capacity building. ABCIC develops strategic partnerships and works in close collaboration with a network of partners for synergy and making the best use of competitive advantages.
Architects’ Council of Europe
Encourage citizens to appreciate architecture as a matter of public interest and as an essential element in the creation of quality in the built environment. They have specific policies related to sustainable construction that include promotion of sustainable design for resource conservation, energy efficiency, and ecologically and socially sensitive land-use.
ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity
The ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) is ASEAN’s response to the challenge of biodiversity loss. It is an intergovernmental regional centre of excellence that facilitates cooperation and coordination among the ten ASEAN Member States and with relevant national governments and regional and international organizations on the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity, as well as the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the use of such natural treasures.

Best Aquaculture Practices Certification
The Global Aquaculture Alliance Best Aquaculture Practices standards in a certification system that combines site inspections and effluent sampling with sanitary controls, therapeutic controls and traceability. By implementing BAP standards, program participants can better meet the demands of the growing global market for wholesome seafood produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Best Aquaculture Practices offers a primarily "process" certification. Successful participation in the Best Aquaculture Practices program is visually represented by limited use of the BAP certification mark.
