2. Modality
In order to make the clearing-house mechanism award more interactive and to share best practices in work related to the programme of work the clearing-house mechanism and knowledge management strategy adopted in the decision 16/9, the Secretariat, in collaboration with the Informal Advisory Group on Technical and Scientific Cooperation has redesigned the clearing-house mechanism award programme.
The awards will now form part of a broader Knowledge Fair, which will provide an opportunity to showcase all the best practices adopted by Parties and the stakeholders. The knowledge fair will also include the clearing-house mechanism award ceremony to be organized during the meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity.
i. To participate in the CHM Knowledge Fair, Parties and observers are invited to submit digital posters at the CHM portal by clicking the link here. <url of the submission form on CHM>
ii. To submit the poster, you can use the template created by Secretariat by downloading it from here: CHM Knowledge Fair Poster Template
iii. Alternatively you can submit a digital poster of your own choice.
a. Please ensure that your submitted poster align with the criteria listed in the section 4 below.
b. The size of the submitted poster must be A1. The dimensions of A 1 are 59.4 cm × 84.1 cm (width by height))
b. you can submit the poster in any of the six languages of the United Nations Organization
iv. Please submit the poster as a JPEG image or a PDF file.

3. Participation
All Parties, other governments, indigenous peoples and local communities, and relevant organizations, including the Technical and Scientific Cooperation Support Centers, are eligible to participate in the Knowledge Fair
4. Assessment and selection
A peer appreciation process will be organized by the Secretariat to identify submissions that Party representatives found especially useful, practical or inspiring. Each submission will be broadly assessed based on the following criteria:
