Botanische Gärten der Universität Bonn is involved with biodiversity research and conservation of plants from across the world.

Scientific research and teaching in biodiversity, systematics, ecology in close collaboration with the Nees-Institute of plant biodiversity. Outreach activities including didactic displays in the gardens. Extensive international collaboration (plant exchange, visits, joint projects).

Botanische Gärten der Universität Bonn contributes directly to Aichi Biodiversity Targets 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19 and 20.
