Speeches Delivered at COP 9 GLISPA High Level Event

The following speeches were delivered at the COP9 GLISPA High Level Event on 27 May 2008 in Bonn, Germany. This event was attended by a number of senior government representatives from island nations, and nations with islands, from around the globe. The event, titled ‘A celebration of island leadership: Voluntary commitments to conservation and sustainable livelihoods on islands’ was also attended by the heads of NGOs, donor agencies, and other GLISPA partners.
