Call for expression of interest to host a regional and/or subregional technical and scientific cooperation support centre
At its fifteenth meeting held in December 2022, the Conference of the Parties established a mechanism consisting of a network of regional and/or subregional technical and scientific cooperation support centres, to be coordinated at the global level by a global coordination entity, to assist in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the work of the Convention and its Protocols.
The overall goal of the mechanism is to promote and facilitate technical and scientific cooperation among Parties and relevant organizations and to enable them to effectively utilize science, technology and innovation to support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
