National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) and National Reports

National Targets and NBSAPs

In decision 15/6 in which the Conference of the Parties requested Parties to submit revised or updated national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs), including national targets, by the sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 16).

National targets and NBSAPs must be submitted via the Online Reporting Tool.

National Reports

In decision 15/6, the Conference of the Parties adopted the guidance and draft template for the seventh and eighth national report. In the same decision, it requested Parties to submit their seventh national report by 28 February 2026. In decision 16/32, the Conference of the Parties endorsed the revised template for the seventh and eighth national reports.

National reports must be submitted via the Online Reporting Tool.
