Taking place over the course of four days, the virtual week will bring together businesses, scientists, conservationists, governments, investors as well as the civil society to discuss the future of the ocean and what can be done to promote ocean health.
June 8 is World Ocean Day – an annual global event to recognise the major role oceans play in our lives and the challenges faced in preserving this precious environment.
Thanks to the surge in open water swimming since the pandemic began, this World Ocean Day may have more significance to Irish people than ever before.
