Learning about biodiversity is already one way of being a hero for the environment, says ACB

SIMPLY EDUCATING one’s self about the “web of life and the hundreds of things you can do to conserve biodiversity” is already one step to being a “hero” for nature. This is one of the messages being sent out by the intergovernmental organization ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) as it joins in the observance of World Environment Day today, June 5. “We call on everyone to look at the interconnectedness among humans, plants, animals, and other species in the web of life, and think of ways to be part of the solution in addressing environmental challenges,” said ACB Executive Director Roberto V. Oliva in a statement.
