Climate expert Chris Brandolino, the principal scientist of New Zealand’s National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) told New Zealand TV’s 1 NEWS last week that the country’s wine growing areas were likely to see more rainfall during the wet season and drier dry seasons – which was bad news for winegrowers.
