Uganda’s mountain gorilla population increases

The global population of mountain gorillas has increased to over 1,000. According to a survey conducted between May and December 2018, the Bwindi-Sarambwe Nature Reserve, had 459 gorillas divided into 50 groups and 13 solitary individuals.
