President Biden invited 40 world leaders to the virtual “Leaders’ Summit on Climate” on April 22 and 23 that will be streamed for public viewing. At the summit, the US will announce its 2030 emissions target as its new Nationally Determined Contribution under the Paris Agreement ahead of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).
