On behalf of the Government of Japan, and in accordance with Decision IX/35 of the Conference of the Parties, I am pleased to inform you that tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10) will be held at the International Conference Center in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, from 18 to 29 October 2010. The High Level Segment will be held from 27 to 29 October 2010.
