The purpose of this notification is to invite relevant organizations to provide information on (i) status and trends related to the sustainable use of biodiversity; (ii) status and trends of the implementation of decisions of the Conference of the Parties (COP) related to sustainable use of biodiversity; and (iii) information on the added value and application of the Addis Ababa Principles and Guidelines (AAPG) for consideration by the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) at its fourteenth meeting, tentatively scheduled to be held from 13 - 21 May 2010.
