The Bureau of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP-MOP), at its meeting held on 20 March 2010 in Cali, Colombia, decided that the updated version of the draft elements of the Strategic Plan, as attached, be circulated to Parties, other stakeholders, and in the Forum on the Biosafety Clearing-House (BCH) for further comments in April 2010. This was in view of the limited number of comments received from Parties during the consultative process established in November 2009.
