The purpose of this notification is to reiterate the invitation to Parties to contribute to the establishment of an expert group on technology transfer and scientific and technical cooperation, the preparation of requested documentation and the compilation and synthesis of information, as requested by the Conference of the Parties in its decision VII/29, on transfer of technology and technology cooperation. Please be informed that the deadline to the Parties for the submission of information as well as of nominations of experts for the expert group on technology transfer and scientific and technical cooperation has been extended to 15 October 2004.
