As a contribution to the implementation of paragraph 3 of decision VII/31, the Executive Secretary in consultation with the Bureau of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) decided that “Success stories in implementation of the programmes of work on dry and sub-humid lands and for the Global Taxonomy Initiative” will be the main theme for the poster session at the eleventh meeting of SBSTTA, scheduled to be held in Montreal, Canada, from 28 November to 2 December 2005. Please indicate on the attached form no later than 3 October 2005, if you intend to present a poster paper.
