The purpose of this Notification is to invite Parties, other Governments, relevant organizations and indigenous and local communities to submit to the Executive Secretary as soon as possible, but no later than 15 December 2005 the following:

(a) comments on the draft review of experiences with ecological networks, corridors and buffer zones available on the Convention’s website at http://www.biodiv.org/programmes/cross-cutting/protected/eco-networks.shtml ; and

(b) any additional examples of experiences with ecological networks, corridors and buffer zones, including application of ecosystem approach with high quality photographs if any, and following the structure provided in the review.
