I have the honour to inform you that regional meetings to prepare for the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP-8) will be held with support from the Government of Japan (for Asia and the Pacific region), the Government of United Kingdom (for the Africa region) and UNEP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (for the Latin America and the Caribbean region).
