I have the honour to inform you that, pursuant to Decision VIII/4 of the Conference of the Parties, and reference to my earlier Notification dated 28 May 2007, the fifth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing (WGABS-5) will be held in Montreal, Canada, from 8 to 12 October 2007, back-to-back with the Fifth Meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Article 8 (j) and Related Provisions (WG8J-5).
