I am pleased to inform you that the Co-chairs of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing, Mr. Fernando Casas of Colombia and Mr. Timothy Hodges of Canada, will be holding informal consultations on the preparation of the forthcoming meetings of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing (ABSWG-5 and 6) with interested delegates at the margins of the twelfth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-12) and the second meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of Implementation of the Convention (WGRI-2).
