The purpose of this Notification is to invite indigenous and local communities interested in the issue of the negotiation of an international regime on access and benefit-sharing within the framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) to nominate experts for the International Indigenous and Local Community Expert Consultation on Access and Benefit-sharing, in the context of Decision VIII/5 C of the Conference of the Parties.
