I am pleased to inform you that a regional workshop for countries of South, Southeast and East Asia on Capacity Building for National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans will be held in Singapore, from 14 to 18 January 2008, organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity in collaboration with the Government of Singapore and the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity, and with the generous financial support of the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity, Canada, Japan, Norway and Singapore.
