Ratifications by Belgium and Bulgaria strengthen EU commitment to Nagoya Protocol

19 August 2016 – Belgium and Bulgaria are the latest countries to ratify the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), bringing the total number of ratifications to 80.
