Joint GEF and CBD Exploration for Financial Solutions to Global Biodiversity Challenges in Eastern Europe

Montreal, 28 March 2011 – Participants in the first Eastern Europe Regional Workshop on Biodiversity and Finance, held in Kiev on 25 March 2011, examined the national and regional implications of the global Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization.
