As part of the project, the pilot activities are being implemented also in selected countries such as Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar. The side event will showcase some of the initial achievements under the project, and provide opportunity among Southeast Asian countries, China, and countries from other regions to exchange their lessons learned in updating and implementing National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans (NBSAPs) in line with the Aichi Targets.
