Raise awareness about the eco-geographical importance of the Korean peninsula that boasts major ecological features in North-East Asia including the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, the DMZ, the Yellow sea, and the East Sea; Create North-East Asian Biodiversity Forum as a regional expert network for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable use of its components in North-East Asia; Propose to adopt diverse actions across research, education, culture, and eco-tourism as the Forum’s main functions and collect relevant opinions.
