Ad Hoc Open-Ended Working Group on Protected Areas

Purpose: share best practices in key areas for the implementation of the PoWPA, particularly on participation, governance and capacity. Launch Earth Conservation Tool Box as a key source of tools for the implementation of the PoWPA. Format: Presentations by 3 state parties/NGOs on their experience in using tools for participation, governance and capacity. Launch and demonstration of the Earth Tool Box and its link to the CBD Secretariat Clearinghouse mechanism and PALNet.
