Date and Time
22 March 2006 13:15 - 15:0

Meeting
Eighth Ordinary Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 8)

The cetaceans hunting provides benefits for only a small part of the world, and the whales, being migratory animals, belongs to the whole world. We intend to show that non lethal uses, like whale watching, is a much more legitim form to share biodiversity benefits with all the world. Also we intend to show how crucial is the implementation of the protected area called "Atlantic Sanctuary", proposed by Brazil.
