Key Biodiversity Areas and AZE sites are new concepts proposed to pinpoint priority areas for conservation at site scale. This event seeks to discuss the current progress in the identification of these sites in different parts of the world as well as to evaluate how this process will help countries to achieve their commitments to CBD.
