Dialogue for the forest biodiversity in Brazil and Portugal

The event has as objective to present an applied strategy for the conservation in Brazil and Portugal, after the partnership between private companies and NGOs. In these countries similar works have been done by the local conservationists NGOs SPVS (Brazil) and Quercus (Portugal) to protect last remaining areas of threatened biomes, both representative of relevant biological diversity. The works consist in dialoguing and seeking the support from the companies for, in the name of NGOs, acquiring or adopting areas of forests which still are reasonable well preserved, in terms of quality and integrity of ecosystems. The event wants to show the importance of the strategy as as complementary effort and an urgent tool to conserve areas in their natural state, meaning areas where still are present the historic-built evolution for the harmonious existence among fauna, flora and sightseeing .
