I have the honour of transmitting to you an information note prepared by the Business and Biodiversity Offsets Programme (BBOP) with respect to its institutional character which will also be available as UNEP/CBD/COP/10/Inf/27. The information note offers brief introductory information on biodiversity offsets and BBOP, and reports to Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) on how BBOP has responded to relevant COP decisions.
