The deadline for submission of information on implementation of the programme of work on protected areas has been extended to 31 March 2007. This extension takes into account the fact that the second meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Protected Areas is now scheduled to be held from 11 to 15 February 2008. As stated in the Notification 2006-080, dated 7 July 2006, Parties, other Governments, relevant organizations and other stakeholders are requested to submit information on implementation of the programme of work on protected areas.
